About the Breakout Sessions

Organic vs. Inorganic Growth in Business: Join us for a panel discussion with Ed Barry who will share successful strategies for building a growth oriented culture in your organization. Ed is a successful business owner who grew his business from 0 employees to over 2200 (OnProcess Technology). Through his experiences, Ed gained insight on the pros and cons of growing through acquisitions, and best practices when it comes to merging cultures while retaining employees. If you’re looking for employees who will build a strong culture and work to achieve the vision of executives and investors, you don’t want to miss this discussion!

Culture: Attracting, Engaging & Retaining Top Talent: With today’s economy essentially at full employment, the battle for talent rages more than ever, with companies competing for new talent while fending off others trying to poach their experienced people. Hiring new employees has devolved into obtaining the “best available” rather than the ideal candidate, which creates additional challenges to engage employees and prevent dilution of the corporate culture. In this panel discussion, company leaders, advisors and industry experts will discuss the strategies and best practices in using culture as a way to attract, engage and retain talent.

Since 1976, The Entrepreneurship Institute (TEI) has been providing guidance to CEOs and Presidents of small and medium-sized companies through The Presidents' Forum, an annual conference of high-powered peers backed by a powerful network of helpful entrepreneurs and expert service providers, held in cities throughout the USA. Executives gain invaluable insights, learn practical solutions to key challenges and discover new ways to grow their business. Our focused breakfast programs are "mini-FORUMs" with content presented based on a thorough understanding of CEOs NEEDS. All learning/networking events are by invitation ONLY to enable strong peer-to-peer interaction.
